Christian Scott: Trumpeter Christian Scott released Live At Newport this week, his first-ever live CD / DVD via Concord Jazz. Recorded in August 2008 at the Newport Jazz Festival, the new 2-disc features a stunning performance that includes new takes on previous songs, plus five new ones.

Christian assembled an all-star band for this performance, which includes Aaron Parks (piano), Joe Sanders (bass), Jamire Williams (drums), Walter Smith III (tenor saxophone) and Matthew Stevens (guitar).

Christian Scott: Grammy-nominated trumpeter Christian Scott will release his first-ever live CD/DVD on November 4th via Concord Jazz. The 2-disc features hit songs from his two previous releases, Rewind That and Anthem, plus five new tracks.
