Thin Lizzy - A March 3rd release for a newly-discovered 1976 live Thin Lizzy show. The ideal time, the best lineup, and all the classic songs.

The Murder City Devils - One of the Northwest’s most missed rock n roll bands hits the road in February for a West Coast tour. Sub Pop is also reissuing limited editions of the MCD albums on high quality color vinyl February 17th.

Blue Note 70th Anniversary - Nearly 70 years since inception, Blue Note Records is still the gold standard in the jazz music world. In addition to live shows and many other events, the label is releasing Mosaic: A Celebration of Blue Note Records by the jazz supergroup The Blue Note 7 on January 13th.

Benny Golson - Concord Jazz announces the debut of Benny Golson's "new jazztet," a stellar sextet that revives that legendary group's highly regarded three-horn front line along with its classic, tight ensemble work and sophisticated sound.

Chick Corea / Hiromi - Chick Corea's latest project of jazz daring is Duet, a two-CD live performance with up-and-coming pianist Hiromi, recorded live in 2007 at the Blue Note in Tokyo. Duet will be released on February 3 on Concord Records

Girls Rock! DVD - A funny and inspirational film chronicling a Rock 'N' Roll camp for girls ages 8-18, Girls Rock! showcases the journey a group of girls experience as they learn about forming a band, writing songs, and building a community. Sleater-Kinney and the Gossip lend their expertise...

Whew! That'll have to do for now. As always, get in touch with any media requests. We aim to please.

OTMG Proud To Announce New Client, Blue Note Records

By otmg - Posted on 29 July 2008

OTMG is proud to announce our newest client Blue Note Records, who have been at the forefront of jazz music since the late 1930s. Blue Note Records has aimed to uphold that distinction over the nearly 70 years since its first recording session. Founded as a small independent label, Blue Note has gone onto become the premiere jazz label in the world, and also the longest running.

Our first campaign is Aaron Parks, whose Blue Note debut Invisible Cinema will be released August 19th. As an up and coming Jazz pianist with a fresh take on the genre, Parks blends his contemporary musical influences with an authentic piano Jazz sound.
